With his latest demands, Floyd Mayweather Jr shows he's 'ducking' and 'running' from Manny Pacquiao

Manny Pacquiao called it correctly. He said that if Floyd Mayweather Jr makes another excuse then he really doesn't want to fight the PacMan. Well, that excuse has come and it's pretty much a deal breaker.

Over the last few weeks, Manny has come out firing with his public negotiations and compromises. When we finally get word back from Floyd Jr it's nothing but an empty excuse to end the negotiations.

I've been saying it for the last couple of months that Floyd would demand more of the purse and now Manny's team has confirmed it. Floyd Jr said earlier this year that he wanted more of the "money" and that hasn't changed as we get ready for a very heated summer in Boxing.

Manny Pacquiao's lawyer Franklin Gacal acknowledged Floyd's demands to Philstar.com:

"We just got word that it seems to be that way. But we will never agree to that."

Manny's team should never agree to that. It's clearly a tactic by Mayweather to throw his weight around. Actually, it's clearly a selfish temper tantrum. Floyd originally agreed to a 50/50 split with Manny Pacquiao but when the negotiations fell through Floyd went to the extreme.

Floyd Jr started talking about how he wanted drug testing up to the day of the fight and that he wanted more money. Apparently, nothing's changed. And apparently this fight won't happen. According to Pacquiao's business manager Eric Pineda, team PacMan won't agree to that.

"Yes, we were told that Floyd now wants a bigger share. And if that’s the case, we now feel that he really doesn’t want to fight Manny because Floyd knows we will never agree on that." Pineda, Philstar.com

Not only does Floyd Mayweather Jr know that team PacMan wouldn't agree to that, but the entire world knew that. Even Floyd's legion of fans knew that. I can see the legion of Floyd fans trying to spin and justify this by saying that Floyd sells more PPVs, Floyd makes more money, Floyd is more popular.
